2020 Summer Reading Program

cslp-childrens-slogan_bannerOur Summer Reading Program is going to look a little different this year, but don’t let that stop you from signing up for all the great programs and prizes we have in store for our community! Our format may have changed, but we will still be bringing you activities, programs, books, and more!

Kick-off Kits

This year, each kid under 12 who registers for the Summer Reading Program gets a Summer Reading Kick-off Kit, which includes a free book! Register below and we’ll arrange for kit pickup!

Safety is our top concern this year, so we’ve gone digital! ReadSquared is a website and app that works perfectly for logging the great books you’ve been reading, and you can even earn badges! Click the icon below to get registered for the kid, teen, or adult program!

Battle of the Books

IMG_4591Due to safety concerns, our usual Battle of the Books competition has been canceled for the year, but fear not: we are preparing our own, slightly scaled down version for kids going into grades 5-12! Meeting weekly, participants will read the same eight books throughout the summer, chat about the titles, and compete in trivia challenges! This is a great program for readers to meet other readers in the community, learn to work together, explore great new books, and make new friends!

Our general interest meeting will be held on Thursday, June 11th at 5pm online. Use this link to log into the meeting: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/163177637
