Kinderhook Garden Club members will share the bounty of their gardens in time for transplanting. The Friends will offer a selection of gently used books on garden care, design, pruning, and plant selection.

As the growing season begins, Russell Holze, orchard consultant and local grower, will speak about agricultural labeling and what it means for growers and consumers at the Stuyvesant Railroad Station in Stuyvesant on Saturday, April 24 at 2 pm.

Friends of the Kinderhook Memorial Library will host an outdoor Library Clean-Up Day on  Thursday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m. (Rain date: April 15).  We’ll be tidying up the gardens, removing winter kill, raking, and enjoying the spring bulbs planted by Paulette Michael. Join us! Your reward will be community service, a chance to visit with neighbors, and gratifying results.
