The Friends of the Library will partner again with our neighbors at St. Paul’s for the Fall Book Sale at the McNary Center. The doors open at 9am Saturday with thousands of new and gently-loved books for adults and children. Bargain hunters can return on Sunday for the popular “shop by donation” sale from noon to 3pm. An exciting addition is the Read & Relax Cafe, offering baked goods and beverages. The cafe will open at 8:30am on Saturday, and will offer home baked specialties throughout the day. Take a break from yard sale hunting, stop in, and stock up on your winter reading! Thanks to all who have donated books to this effort, to Bonnie Shannon and the workers who make the book sale happen, and to Jeanne Leonard and the troupe of bakers who are contributing their time and talent to the bake sale.
