An Intro to International Criminal Law

In the shadow of the war in Eastern Europe, we are pleased to be hosting Roberta Baldini, former Chief of Investigations at the UN and UN International Prosecutor at the UN ICTR and in Kosovo. Roberta will discuss International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and International Criminal Law (ICL), particularly as they relate to the conflict in Ukraine. These presentations will help contextualize the news stories that we are seeing through a legal framework and answer some deeper questions we may have about the war. Drawing from her own experiences, Roberta will give attendees an overview of IHL and ICL through Q&A, videos, and hypothetical situations.
