Community Conversations–Let Your Voice be Heard!
October 17 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
In 2019, the Library engaged in several Community Conversations with a broad cross-section of residents of the towns of Kinderhook and Stuyvesant. At the conclusion of these meetings, the Library Board summarized the recurrent themes and incorporated several into its Long Range Plan. Just as that phase was completed, however, Covid-19 effectively shut down our communities and put many of our plans on hold.
Now though we are ready to get back to business and reevaluate the results of these conversations and their impact on our Long Range Plan. This Fall, we would like to reconvene our initial group and invite any other interested community members to take a fresh look at the themes that arose from those meetings, and determine whether those priorities remain the same. This will be a one-time meeting, but we hope to produce some action plans for moving forward with priority issues. Please join us on Sunday, October 17th at 2pm at the pavilion at Volunteers’ Park on State Farm Road in Kinderhook.
If you are interested in participating but unable to attend the meeting, we invite you to complete the following survey and let us know your opinions. Please find this survey here.
