For young children, learning to read can be a daunting task. But sometimes, gaining confidence can be as simple as having a willing, non-judgemental, and furry ear to listen! Sign your child up today for the chance to read to certified therapy dog Windy at the library! Windy loves to listen to stories and is ready to snuggle up with an emerging reader to hear a fun tale.
Help us make a mini pride parade for the library! For all ages, come down to the library to build a float out of shoe boxes for our very own miniature pride parade. We will have plentiful craft supplies on hand for all the whimsy and rainbows your heart desires.

We are teaming up this year with the Valatie Free Library for a dino-tastic summer of prizes and reading! Join us at Rothermel Park to sign up for summer reading, collect your Summer Reading Dinopoloy board and celebrate the start of summer! Come hungry because we'll have hotdogs, popcorn, and cotton candy available for free! Lawn games, giant bubbles, and crafts will also be available!
