DESCRIPTION:Communities are lifted by those putting their time and energy toward its improvement. But it can be difficult to find the right organization to put your time and energy toward! That’s why we are organizing our first ever Volunteer Fair: to provide a place for eager volunteers to meet with local organizations that need their help. Come learn about a wide variety of organizations from across the county and hear about their mission time requirement\, skills needed\, and more. \nCome and meet representatives from the following organizations: \n\nThe Friends of the Kinderhook Memorial Library\nThe Sylvia Center\nThe Columbia-Greene Humane Society\nThe Ichabod Crane PTA\nThe Columbia Land Conservancy\nColumbia Kitchen\nGaming Hour\nThe Ghent Playhouse\nThe Neighbors of Northern Columbia County\n\nIf you represent a local organization that relies on volunteers and are interested in having a table at this event\, please feel free to reach out to us at director@kinderhooklibrary.org. \nThis event will take place at the McNary Center.
