Did you know that our Summer Reading Program is open to all ages? We have different challenges and prizes for kids, teens, and adults, so be sure to stop in and get the whole family signed up today! Kids will have plenty of opportunities to win prizes big and small throughout the summer by doing what we love most at the library–READING! For every four hours reading (or being read to), kids get a ticket to enter into a weekly raffle drawing. Keep those reading logs handy to record how many hours of reading you’ve done!
Teens and tweens will have their own prize raffles as well! Earn a ticket for every hour spent reading anything! Books, comics, magazines, audiobooks, fanfiction—reading is reading, and it’s all fair game. We’ll have weekly drawings throughout the summer, and grand prize raffles at the end, so be sure to visit the Teen Room to see the upcoming prizes and enter the drawings. AND bonus scratch off tickets will be available for attending teen programs throughout the summer, volunteering, writing book reviews, and checking out books. May the odds be ever in your favor!
And of course, adults can register for our program this year too, with local gift certificates and other prizes up for grabs. Just sign up at the library to be entered to win! Plus, intrepid readers can take part in our Pathfinder Challenge to follow reading prompts that take you around the world, through time and space!
