During the eight years of the Revolutionary War, Ezra Trim served in a Connecticut Regiment, two New York Regiments, a local militia, a New Hampshire Regiment and, at West Point, Colonel Lamb's Regiment of Artillery. Steve Trimm is Ezra's fifth great grandson, and using Ezra's military records and pension application, plus stories handed down in the family, Steve will present a "living history" portrayal of his ancestor.

Gentle yoga is back at the Library! Those of us who have tried yoga have learned that it can be a lot more intense than it looks! That’s why we are working with Village Yoga to bring this exciting program back to the Library for those of us who are looking for a less strenuous, but just as relaxing, experience. Saturday, Oct. 24 at 2:00pm We are excited to welcome author Christopher Nye to our library, who will be discussing his newest book “Beyond Tomorrow: Planning a New Civilization”. In his newest book, Nye paints a wide canvas and brainstorms how we might construct a world not just for sustainability and survival, but for human flourishing. This presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and the opportunity to purchase a copy of Nye’s book.
