Those who love to cook should join us for an international edition of our Cookbook Club! This month, we’ll be featuring recipes from the book Bottom of the Pot: Persian Recipes and Stories by Naz Deravian. Choose a recipe at the Library and bring your dish to our potluck meal with other chefs at the Stuyvesant Town Hall!
Fans of the macabre, join us on Mischief Night for two classic horror films derived from the works of H.P. Lovecraft! We’ll begin with The Haunted Palace starring Vincent Price and Lon Chaney (1963) and will be followed by Die, Monster, Die with Boris Karloff (1965). This harrowing evening will be hosted by local master of horror Bruce Hallenbeck.
