    Looking to help out the library on your summer break?  This is the time to do it! Every Wednesday morning, we will have jobs ready for any teens who need to build their volunteer resume or who just love the library!  This opportunity is open to all teens as a drop-in event.  Jobs will vary from week to week, but may include prepping children's crafts, helping to set up programs, looking for missing books, and other tasks around the library.   • DINO BITES – Ice Age

    Sponsored by Community Bank Families can stomp on down to the Library this summer for fun, food, and five fantastic dinosaur films! Thanks to a generous grant from Community Bank in Valatie, our Dino-Bites Series will run for 5 consecutive weeks and provide free lunches and snacks for kids joining us for a movie matinee. All sessions will be held on a Wednesday at 12:00pm.     If you're looking for a low-impact, gentle exercise in a welcoming group setting, be sure to stop by our new Tai Chi for Seniors program in Stuyvesant! We are partnering with the Office of the Aging to bring this free program to seniors. Stop by for this energizing exercise, and learn more about the various services provided by the Office of the Aging as well! This series is made possible due to a generous grant through The Ackerman Foundation. This event takes place weekly at the Stuyvesant Town Hall. Please contact us if you need assistance!

    Gentle yoga is back at the Library! Those of us who have tried yoga have learned that it can be a lot more intense than it looks! That’s why we are working with Village Yoga to bring this exciting program back to the Library for those of us who are looking for a less strenuous, but just as relaxing, experience. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. This series is brought to you thanks to a generous grant from The Hover Foundation.
