Open Grades 8 - 12 (Grade 8 as of Sept. 2024 and just graduated 12th graders) Battle of the Books season is upon us!  Learn what this competitive book trivia competition is all about and help construct our summer battle strategy. The Right to Read shares the stories of an NAACP activist, a teacher, and two American families who fight to provide our youngest generation with the most foundational indicator of life-long success: the ability to read. Join a group of like-minded newbie menders and learn how to fix your own textiles at this friendly monthly gathering. You bring what you need to fix and any thread, needles, fabrics that you want to use.
