If you happen to be looking for her, you can probably find Viv Heron curled up in the reading nook in the Children’s Room or stretched out in the Teen Room with her nose in a book. She’s one of our Kinderhook Library super-users and our first ever Kid Librarian!
Viv has been coming to the Kinderhook Library for years and for the last several has been one of the star team members of our Middle School Battle of the Books team. She hopes to help lead the team to (another) first place banner in 2026!
If you see Viv around, feel free to say hi! Her gregarious and curious spirit never fails to put a smile on the faces of the library staff. She is a fan of mainly middle grade fiction and fantasy.
