Thanks to a collaboration between the Village of Kinderhook and the Friends of the Library, we have three beautiful Little Free Libraries (LFLs) in our community! When you visit Rothermel or Mills Park, keep an eye out for these special cases that contain free books to enjoy for the day or take home to keep. Kinderhook Memorial Library High School Battle of the Books team 2023

A huge congratulations to our High School Battle of the Books team for taking FIRST PLACE in this year’s competition! We couldn’t be more proud of these amazing kids for their dedication, prowess, and sportsmanship this season. Not only did they get delicious pizza, they’ll be heading down to Poughkeepsie to square off against two other finalists.
