Teen Summer Volunteering

Looking to help out the library on your summer break?  This is the time to do it!

Every Wednesday morning, we will have jobs ready for any teens who need to build their volunteer resume or who just love the library!  This opportunity is open to all teens as a drop-in event.  Jobs will vary from week to week, but may include prepping children’s crafts, helping to set up programs, looking for missing books, and other tasks around the library.

Want to get involved, but Wednesday mornings don’t work?  Contact Emily at teens@kinderhooklibrary.org to add your name to our list of event helpers.  We’ll send out a call for volunteers if we need extra hands throughout the summer!

Please note that while we are so appreciative of the enthusiasm teens show our library, we cannot accommodate volunteers outside of Wednesday mornings or scheduled events this year.  If teens show up outside of volunteer hours, they will be told to go have fun in the Teen Room instead!
