Following an unfortunate run-in with a con artist, George Sistern seeks out the help of psychologist and philosopher Mildred to address his deep depression. What follows is a series of probing and insightful philosophical conversations between doctor and client, which asks just as much of the reader as of the protagonist. Join us for a book talk and signing with Richard Devens as he introduces us to his characters and writing style. Books will be available for purchase.

We are excited to welcome Alex Prizgintas for a presentation on seeking, identifying, and collecting glass bottles from past decades. You’ll never look at a glass bottle the same way again! Alex has been collecting bottles from the Hudson Valley for over ten years and served as president of the Hudson Valley Bottle Club from 2018 to 2020.
