    The Village of Kinderhook will be hosting Weston Davey and Frances Stern of NYS Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation for this important workshop! If you own a historic home or other property, there may be tax credits and incentives available to help with maintenance and rehabilitation. Come learn about possible funding opportunities, local resources, important policies, and more at this workshop! This program is presented through a collaboration between the Village of Kinderhook Historic Preservation Committee, the Columbia County Historical Society, and the Kinderhook Business & Professional Association.

    We are excited to welcome back former Chief of Investigations at the UN and UN International Prosecutor at the UN ICTR and Kosovo Roberta Baldini to discuss International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and human rights. Drawing from her own experiences, Roberta will give attendees an overview of many current world events through conversation, Q&A, videos, and hypothetical situations. Content warning: frank discussions of wars and war crimes may be difficult for some individuals. This will be the first of a series of lectures and discussions with Roberta, and we will update you with a schedule once we have one confirmed.

    Candlelight Night is here again, and we are thrilled to be welcoming back last year's quartet Cliff and Friends to spread holiday cheer throughout our building! The fireplace will be lit, our wonderful Friends group will be handing out homemade treats and free books for kids, and we will have beautiful, pristine books for sale for $10 (which would make a perfect gift for the bibliophile on your list)!
