For the month of June we’ll have rainbow crafts, book displays, and our 5th Annual Drag Story Hour to celebrate pride and loving yourself just as you are! Join us for a special storytime featuring drag queen Noelle Diamond reading some of our favorite books about inclusion, friendship, and love! Storytime is open to families with kids of all ages. After the storytime, join us outside of the Library as the Pride Parade kicks off and we march into the Village square!

We are excited to welcome award winning author Christine Mott to our library to present a special storytime! Christine will be sharing her book Free Bird: Flaco the Owl's Dreams Take Flight, which recently won the 2025 Children’s Book International Award from the American Writing Awards. Free Bird is based on the true story of Flaco the Owl, who escaped from the Central Park Zoo in 2023 and continued to make his home in the middle of Manhattan.
