Join us at the Stuyvesant Town Hall for a viewing party, where we'll have free eclipse glasses to share amongst ourselves as well as refreshments and crafts for kids? What if it's a cloudy day? We're taking our Fairy House program OUTSIDE for Spring Break! We will have lots of supplies on hand in addition to what you can scavenge from around the library grounds. Build your cutest house and you never know who will come to visit!
Open Mic Poetry Night
Kinderhook Memorial Library 18 Hudson Street, Kinderhook, NY, United StatesWriters, poets, and lovers of poetry are invited to our first stand-up open mic poetry night, in celebration of National Poetry Month! You're invited to bring a short original piece, a favorite poem by another author, or simply come to enjoy listening to others. Come meet other local poets, and learn more about the local Poetry Caravan, a local organization the brings poetry to others throughout the community! Light refreshments will be served. We are hoping to make this a regular event at the Library, so please let us know if you are interested but unable to attend!
