Every Wednesday after school we'll have a drop in craft or art project! Each week we'll explore different mediums or processes! Let your imagination be the guide! This program is open to kids ages 5-12 years old.
Join Mandy for stories and songs! All ages welcome! Please note that we do Story Time at 10:30 AND 11:30 am (and not from 10:30 to 12:00, just to be clear, thank you!)
If you're looking for a low-impact, gentle exercise in a welcoming group setting, be sure to stop by our new Tai Chi for Seniors program in Stuyvesant! We are partnering with the Office of the Aging to bring this free program to seniors. Stop by for this energizing exercise, and learn more about the various services provided by the Office of the Aging as well! This event takes place weekly at St. Joseph's Church in Stuyvesant, NY. Please contact us if you need assistance!
We will explore a new art medium every week including watercolors, clay, fingerpaints, paper crafts and more! This program has the potential to be messy so please dress little ones in clothes you don't mind getting dirty! Best for toddlers and pre-schoolers!
This twice-weekly exercise group is led by Kinderhook resident Pat Berroyer. If you are interested in attending, please contact the library first at info@kinderhooklibrary.org.
Studying for a history test? Join other high schoolers for a lowkey study session at the library! Drop in any time during a session. No registration required to attend. Study resources and free snacks will be available. Not studying for history? You are still welcome to the quiet space and snacks while reviewing for the test of your choice. This program was organized by Adam B. through KML's Teen Volunteer Program.
NAMI Columbia County is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and is made up of friends, family, and others who have been impacted by mental illness. NAMI meets twice a month in the Library's meeting room (unless otherwise noted).
