Christine will be sharing her book Free Bird: Flaco the Owl's Dreams Take Flight, which recently won the 2025 Children’s Book International Award from the American Writing Awards. Free Bird is based on the true story of Flaco the Owl, who escaped from the Central Park Zoo in 2023 and continued to make his home in the middle of Manhattan.     Life is a cabaret, old chum, and we’re thrilled to have local trio Triple Entendre out to entertain you this evening with an hour of songs and laughs! This talented trio consists of local musicians Lucia Byrd, Cathy Olsen, and Diane Geddes, who are here to entertain us with some blues and Broadway favorites. Light refreshments and drinks will be served as you enjoy a fantastic evening. Thank you to the Friends of the Library for helping us arrange this wonderful event!
