  • Reflections on Nature: A Dialogue in Three Voices

    We are very excited to bring three authors to share their writings on nature with us this summer! Barbara Ungar will be sharing a selection of poems from After Naming the Animals, Sarah Giragosian will be reading excerpts from Mother Octopus, and Jackie Craven will discuss her newest book WHISH. These three authors, in conversation with themselves and the audience, will discuss their various styles and techniques as well as the natural worlds that inspire them to continue their craft. Light refreshments will be served.

  • Friends of the Library: Preview Night and Annual Meeting

    Can't wait for the annual Fall Book Sale? Friends members are invited to join us for a special preview night on Friday, September 13th! Doors will open at five, and Friends members will be able to purchase titles ahead of the weekend book sale. Members will also get one free book of their choosing and enjoy free refreshments. At 6:00pm, the membership will be voting on next year's slate of officers, annual budget, and last year's meeting minutes.

All proceeds directly benefit the Library and help provide services, events, and resources to our community. This year, we are inviting teachers to come for a special deal: any teacher who  presents their school ID can take 10 free books to help stock their classroom library!
