Adventurers: grab your dice and make a quest to the library for new, monthly Dungeons & Dragons events led by our local Dungeon Master, Dave! These evening sessions will introduce new players to D&D, and give returning players a chance to meet new party members. If you're looking for a low-impact, gentle exercise in a welcoming group setting, be sure to stop by our new Tai Chi for Seniors program in Stuyvesant! We are partnering with the Office of the Aging to bring this free program to seniors. Stop by for this energizing exercise, and learn more about the various services provided by the Office of the Aging as well! This series is made possible due to a generous grant through The Ackerman Foundation. This event takes place weekly at the Stuyvesant Town Hall. Please contact us if you need assistance!

Celebrate Poetry Month with us! Bring some of your favorite poems or original works to share with other poets and writers! This night will be facilitated by local poet and instructor Phyllis Carito, who will also share samples from her newest collection Rollercoaster of Life.
We will explore a new art medium every week including watercolors, clay, fingerpaints, paper crafts and more! This program has the potential to be messy so please dress little ones in clothes you don't mind getting dirty! Best for toddlers and pre-schoolers!

Grab some popcorn and drinks–our monthly movie matinees are back! We’re partnering with the wonderful Neighbors of Northern Columbia County to bring some classic films to our library for free! This season we're focusing on some Oscar winning actresses, starting with 1987's Moonstruck starring Cher and Nicolas Cage!
The monthly meeting of the Library Board occurs on the third Tuesday of every month, excepting August, and is open to the public.
Did you know that we have a special library for gardeners? Our Seed Library is the perfect place to find and swap seeds for plants and veggies with other local growers and sowers. At this program, we’ll showcase some of the seeds that we have available to “borrow” and go over what it takes to keep this a free community resource.
