Join us for this slightly ridiculous but super fun town-wide scavenger hunt for grownups to benefit library programs for children and teens! Grab a friend and make a team of 2 to 4 people and scramble around the Town of Kinderhook while finding or creating the most random assortment of items. The Neighbors of Northern Columbia County are back with another series of classic movies. This season they've picked some real star vehicles, starting this month, with Gregory Peck as Captain Ahab in John Huston's Moby Dick from 1955. Enjoy a weekday matinee with popcorn and light refreshments, and learn more about what the Neighbors do in our community Next month they'll be back with The Graduate, starring Dustin Hofmann.
Open to Grades 4-8 This summer, explore middle grade books with us that star LGBTQIA+ characters and themes! It's a big, beautiful world out there! For our first meeting, we will be discussing Too Bright to See by Kyle Lukoff. Request a copy to read before the meeting using your library card!
The monthly meeting of the Library Board occurs on the third Tuesday of every month, excepting August, and is open to the public.
Every Wednesday after school we'll have a drop in craft or art project! Each week we'll explore different mediums or processes! Let your imagination be the guide! This program is open to kids ages 5-12 years old.

Open to Ages 13-19 This summer, our volunteer group is taking some time to relax! We'll still listen to your ideas, but we're doing something a little different for our July and August meetings! Due to the heat advisory on 7/17 TAB will be meeting AT THE LIBRARY for ice cream in the building.
We will explore a new art medium every week including watercolors, clay, fingerpaints, paper crafts and more! This program has the potential to be messy so please dress little ones in clothes you don't mind getting dirty! Best for toddlers and pre-schoolers!
Teens Ages 13+ This event will run 90 minutes! Meet us outside of the Library to check in. This event will take place outside on the Library's lawn, so please be sure to bring water and wear your sunscreen!
