We're bringing back Meatless Mondays to Kinderhook and Stuyvesant and we cannot wait to see how many families we can sign up this year! Meatless Mondays is a national initiative to "go meatless" for one day each year to challenge ourselves and our families to try some new, healthy, delicious recipes. What is "solar grazing"? You may have heard this term alongside "agrivoltaics", and we're giving you the chance to have your questions answered at the library! In short, agrivoltaics involves combining gathering solar energy and local farming in a way that benefits the community as a whole. But this is of course a more intricate subject! Luckily, we have experts in the field visiting to explain how it works, who benefits, and clear up some common misconceptions.
Every Wednesday after school we'll have a drop in craft or art project! Each week we'll explore different mediums or processes! Let your imagination be the guide! This program is open to kids ages 5-12 years old.

We will explore a new art medium every week including watercolors, clay, fingerpaints, paper crafts and more! This program has the potential to be messy so please dress little ones in clothes you don't mind getting dirty! Best for toddlers and pre-schoolers!
