Sunday, December 29 at 2pm for all ages and skill levels! Crocheting is a healthy outlet to use as any sort of needed relief. It builds resilience, technique, and most importantly becomes quite fun! From single and double stitches to creating your own hats and gloves, crocheting can be a vital skill. On Sunday December 29th, the Kinderhook Memorial Library is holding an event where people of all ages and crocheting experience can attend to have some fun crocheting simple squares and enjoying snacks and drinks at the same time.

Come learn all about Van Buren’s involvement in the 1844 US election from noted history professor Mark Cheathem! Dr. Cheathem is a professor of history at Cumberland University in Tennessee, where he serves as project director for “The Papers of Martin Van Buren,” an archive project documenting Van Buren’s writings. |

This residential service collects compost from your home, like how recycling pickup works, and returns healthy soil for your garden. The company is aiming to kick off service in Kinderhook upon enrolling 50 households.
