Gentle yoga is back at the Library! Those of us who have tried yoga have learned that it can be a lot more intense than it looks! That’s why we are working with Village Yoga to bring this exciting program back to the Library for those of us who are looking for a less strenuous, but just as relaxing, experience. Please bring a yoga mat if you have one. This series is brought to you thanks to a generous grant from The Hover Foundation.

Fridays, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, Dec. 11 Looking to help out the library, learn more about library sciences, or just build your volunteer resume? Now's your chance! Once a month, we will have drop-in volunteering for teens Grades 6-12. Jobs will vary from week to week, but may include prepping children’s crafts, helping to set up programs, looking for missing books, and other tasks around the library. Volunteering runs from 3:30pm-5pm. Teens will receive community service credit. Email teens@kinderhooklibrary.org with any questions!
If you feel like you’re seeing A.I. everywhere you look, that’s because you are! Many common programs and services have had A.I. added in ways that you might not expect or like. At this event, our director will review a few ways that you can remove A.I. from various programs, including Gmail, Windows, and IOs devices. Regardless of your personal feelings on A.I., you should have a choice in how to use it–or not.
