We even have a number of visitors who are just passing through, who stop in for directions to Lindenwald or … Read more

Meet Ibrahim, our Summer Reading Explorer!

Meet Ibrahim, our first ever Summer Reading Explorer! Ibrahim has been coming to the Kinderhook Memorial Library for a very long time and is a serious reader! At the beginning of the summer, we challenged all of our summer reading participants to become adventurers by getting outside and exploring! We’re lucky in here in Kinderhook to have access to many beautiful public lands cared for the by the Columbia Land Conservancy. Being a Summer Reading Explorer means Ibrahim hiked TEN properties around Columbia County! He said his favorite was Overmountain in Ancram. We applaud Ibrahim for his efforts!
