    Join us for an in depth look at artist and activist Faith Ringgold. Learn how she combined social justice with contemporary art through her unique story quilts, and how the Harlem Renaissance informed her art and identity. Attendees will gain insight into her distinctive techniques, which combine painting and quilting to address themes of race, gender, and identity. Art historian and author Maria Ausherman will lead this presentation and discuss the historical context in which Faith worked.
