  • Art opening – Birds of the Hudson Valley by Mayuko Fujino

    Mayuko Fujino is a self-taught paper cutout and stencil artist from Japan who now lives in Copake, NY. Inspired by traditional Japanese stencil textile designs and the Mingei folk art movement, she has been making art since 1999 for clients such as the National Audubon Society, Atlantic Magazine, and the Nature Conservancy. This art exhibit, Birds of the Hudson Valley, showcases her stencil paintings using natural pigments, some of which were made from rocks collected in the Hudson Valley. She often finds inspiration in birds and the local natural landscape, as well as conversations with local birders, ecologists, and farmers. ... Read more

We are partnering with the Office of the Aging to bring this free program to seniors. Stop by for this energizing exercise, and learn more about the various services provided by the Office of the Aging as well! This event takes place weekly at St. Joseph's Church in Stuyvesant, NY.
