Come learn to create your own herbal tea blends from certified herbalist Helen O'Toole, who will be sharing her passion for local and Appalachian herbs with you! Learn about how you can utilize different plants to address a variety of health issues, as well as the meditative process of creating and steeping your own herbal tea blends.

This insightful program is a chance to explore the novels that have been making headlines in recent years due to challenges in schools and public libraries across the country. Each month, we'll be reading one challenged title and discussing not only the stories, but the controversy surrounding them as well as the broad concept of censorship. Join us for a discussion of Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower at our December book club! This program is made possible through a generous grant from the Mid-Hudson Library System.
